Hey kids, it's almost time for DEFCON 15! cDc will be well-represented at the event, with a total of 5 talks, 1 contest, and 1 party.

The fun begins Friday 8/3 at 2pm when the NSF's very own Chamuco and Valsmith are giving a talk entitled "Covert Debugging." At 3pm, Flack and RaD Man of the NSF (along with yours truly) are giving a talk called "Self-Publishing and the Computer Underground." Valsmith is at it again at 4pm, this time presenting (and releasing a tool) the aptly titled "Tactical Exploitation" with H.D. Moore (of Metasploit-fame). Come on out and see us, it'll be a hell of a time.

That night, it's time to head over to the Krave Lounge (on the Strip, across from the Harley Café) to get your dance and your drink on. $2 drinks from 10pm to midnight, lots of DJs, free with a DEFCON badge. Many MANY thanks to the NSF's Delchi for putting this together. He is truly a deity among men.

Here's a flyer with all of Friday's info. Print it out and bring it to the con; this would be a perfect item to get autographed by your favorite cDcers. It might even fetch a pretty penny on eBay after the con, who knows?

And here are a couple of different flyers for the party. When I get to Vegas, I expect to see these all over the Strip (and, naturally, all over DEFCON/The Riviera).

And if Friday's fun weren't enough, there are THREE MORE cDc-EVENTS on Saturday 8/4!

Valsmith, the hardest working man in show business, is back in full effect at 11am, giving a talk with our very own Delchi called "Malware Secrets." Fast-forward to 7pm, and it's Arrakis/Steve Topletz of Hacktivismo presenting about "Portable Privacy;" there's also gonna be a snazzy new tool that makes TorPark look like MOSAIC. At 9pm, CULT OF THE DEAD COW's Javaman is conducting the ever-popular "TCP/IP Drinking Game," filling in for Dr. Mudge who had to go and get married (congratulations, btw). GOOD TIMES!

In addition to these seven events, no less than (and perhaps more than) 15 members of the cDc Triumvirate will be in attendance at DEFCON. Buy us beer.

This is the first time (in recent memory, anyway) that members of all three cDc groups have presented at the same con. Celebrate this momentous occasion by buying us even more beer.
